Ashley Brooke Designs - Green Martini 10

A Little Business + A Little Party

Since it’s almost St. Patrick’s Day, I thought I would whip up a little green cocktail for us! So, when I got to thinking about green drinks, I started to get more and more concerned about the green food coloring that was involved and thought that there had to be something I could make that would be semi-decent health wise, and then I saw this green juice at Publix… Perfect!

I love easy cocktails beauce when you are entertaining there isn’t a lot of time to make it all happen! Also, beacause it usually means that I already have the ingredients in my house, another a HUGE plus!

I’ve been on a serious martini kick over here lately, so I thought let’s mix my favorite green juice with a little gin and see what happens!

Well, I’ll tell you, it was delicious! I don’t like super sweet drinks and gin cuts the sweetness perfectly… I’ll bet Vodka would be just as good, maybe even better, you’ll have to let me know!

Also, are you ready for the recipe, it’s 1:1. So if you put 1 oz of gin use 1 oz of green juice. It’s official, this is the new March cockatil around here. I hope you enjoy!

P.S. I am a firm believer that cocktails look better in a fancy glass, so here are some of my favorite vintage glasses:
