Let’s Take a Peek!

A couple weeks ago I showed you a peek in my closet and a few new things that I had recently added and couldn’t wait to wear! So, today I am doing it again. I love going in my sister’s and girlfriend’s closets to see what all they have in there and how they are making their pieces “work”! It’s kind of like looking in a friend’s refrigerator and panty and discovering new snacks that you never thought to buy (… just me?! okay I digress…)! Anyway, consider this kind of like that, a peek at something new I just bought and how I am planning on dressing it up and down! 

I recently purchased this swing-y crepe peplum blouse from Ann Taylor in both blush and black and I cannot wait to wear them! I think I might save the black one for the Fall, but either way they were a STEAL and I could not pass them up! And to be honest with you, I am suuuuch a dress girl, that I rarely buy anything other than dresses and it’s become a problem. So I am trying to be better about also buying separates! 

One of my favorite things about this top is the fit! It looks like a Club Monaco top and fits like one too! Also, it’s more of a classic peplum and won’t go out of style as quickly… and since I like to wear things for YEARS (and years… I’m looking at you black mini skirt from 2001 that I still wear, no joke) it was love at first sight! 

Loren Hope Statement Necklace

Another big seller for me on this top is that it will be so easy to dress up or dress down! I can pair it with my favorite statement necklace and mules or straw tote, sandals, and tassel necklace! Better yet, this look could totally take me from day to night with my favorite a pair of white jeans! It’s the easiest and breeziest Summer outfit of all time!
