Blogger Ashley Brooke Shares her favorite GF + DF recipes for Thanksgiving |

I’ve been on a kick lately with the Fall recipes and I thought I’d share some of my recent discoveries.  Honestly, they are just too good to not share! All three of these recipes are gluten free, diary free, and vegan, which make them easy recipes to take and share with friends. My family alone is a mess of allergies.  We’re talking gluten, dairy, soy, nuts, almost everyone has something so when I look for recipes I try to find ones that are good and safe for everyone. Finding a good recipe that is free of all the things (we call it “all the frees” in our house) is as good as gold!

If you are already perusing food blogs looking for some delicious yet healthy dishes to make this next week, I hope these recipes give you some inspiration! Don’t forget to comment and let me know what you’re whipping this year… I’d love to know!

1. Curried Butternut Squash Soup GF/DF

Recipe from Minimalist Baker

So I made this recipe last week (pictured above) and paired it with toasted turkey sandwiches. Ryan acted like he had died and gone to heaven. Simple food is always the best food. Also, this recipe is quite literally the bomb dot com. I’m making it for my families’ Thanksgiving… I may make it for Ryan’s family as well. Gosh, it was just so good.

2. Pumpkin Pie GF/DF

Recipe from Minimalist Baker

This is another winner! We had been talking about pumpkin pie for weeks and I finally broke down and made some last week. This recipe was truly amazing. I was super skeptical because there is nothing I love more in life than pie crust, but typically gluten-free piecrustt is a huge letdown.  Not with this recipe!  I have to say that this crust was excellent AND it held its shape.  The pie itself tasted just like the real thing. Honestly, I may be making this one again next week… because who gets tired of pumpkin pie?!

3. Maple Pecan Pumpkin Muffins GF/DF

Recipe from Beaming Baker

Now, I haven’t tried this recipe yet, but I just found it and it looks magical. Maple syrup and pecans…what could possibly go wrong there?! Honestly, if there was ever a match made in heaven it would be that one. This recipe is on the tippity top of my list!

And really, how good would these be for breakfast the day after thanksgiving? So good right?!
