5 Healthy Protein-Bite Recipes
I forgot just how much I love this snack!
Last weekend I made the No-Bake Vegan/GF Lemon Poppy Seed Donut Holes that were featured in my Saturday newsletter (sign up here in case you missed it!) and I had forgotten just *how* much I love making these types of protein-bite treats!
They really are so simple to make in big batches to have on hand for a quick and healthy afternoon pick-me-up throughout the week. I used to make protein bites all the time but fell out of the habit during our kitchen renovation a few years ago, but consider me fully re-inspired!

Recently, I stayed at my parents house and my mom always has homemade protein bites in her freezer, which reminded me that they really are such an easy, healthy, and satisfying snack. I knew the lemon version from my favorite Minimalist Baker would be amazing and I was right! But it also made me want to find a few other recipes to make.
So below are the five protein-bite recipes I’ve bookmarked to try. They are all no-bake, easy to make, gluten- and dairy-free…basically, the perfect balance of nutritious and convenient. A true snack hack! Let me know if you make them, too!

*Note: I used my Vitamix (which I love and use every. single. day. to make our smoothies!) to make the lemon bites, but I just ordered a new food processor since my cheap one bit the dust a few weeks ago. The one I’ve had my eye on for forever just went on MAJOR SALE (almost $100 off). I’m so excited! I can’t wait for it to come in. I make so many food processor recipes that this will be my new best friend.
P.S. Have you tried my Protein Lemon Blueberry Muffins yet? They are delish!
