Netflix & Chill

I’m a homebody at heart and there is nowhere I’d rather be on a Friday night (or really any night) than snuggled up on my couch, in my PJ’s, with popcorn and a bottle of wine! I really can’t think of a night that comes close to topping that… ha!

Which means by now I’m most definitely a romantic comedy connoisseur. I joke with people all the time that I have a 14-year-old girl’s taste in movies, and it’s totally true. If there’s a feel-good story with an ending that involves a spinning kiss cam, I’m all in. I wish I was more highbrow in my movie choices, I will always love Princess Diaries and I’ve made my peace with that. Judge me all you want!

If you are looking for the perfect romantic comedy to watch this weekend, look no further! I’ve done the research for you and below are my favorite 6 romantic comedies on Netflix that are queued and ready!

Top 6 Romantic Comedies on Netflix,

How to Lose A Guy in 10 Days

A true classic. This movie genuinely never gets old! Also, I’m STILL looking for a yellow dress like that one… tell me if any of you ever find one and then invite me to your next black tie affair! 😉

This movie will forever be a favorite.

The Princess Dairies

I don’t care what anyone says, this movie is Oscar worthy. I often get asked in interviews what my favorite movie is and I always say “You’ve Got Mail” because it’s true, I love that movie. But I also say it because it sounds weird when a grown woman says “Princess Diaries”, ha!

This will always be the best and, if you were wondering… yes, I love the sequel just as much as the original.

13 Going on 30

This movie is such a throwback and an instant mood booster! Plus everytime I watch it I begin to think I too can wear one of my silk nightgowns out of the house like a dress… There’s some serious style inspiration in this one! 😉

Mamma Mia

My dad took my mom, sister, and I to NYC to see Mamma Mia on Broadway when I was in high school. That was one of my favorite family trips to date.

He had seen it on a business trip earlier that year and just knew us girls would love it. As soon as he came home he booked a trip for the four. And of course he was right, we were all dancing in our aisle in the theater by the end of the show.  It was a night I’ll never forget!

So when the movie came out a few years later it was love at first watch. Plus, I’m a total sucker for Pierce Brosnan!

Love Actually

Yes this is technically a “holiday” movie but it’s always a good time of year to watch Love Actually. It’s entertaining, witty, and just all around GOOD. If you only ever watch this movie during the holidays, be a rebel and break it out this weekend. I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Bridget Jones’s Baby

I love all things, Bridget Jones! If they came out with a 4th and 5th movie I’d be on board with all of them! The best thing about all Bridget Jone’s movies is that we can each relate to her in some way or another.  I always end up laughing until my stomach hurts when I watch these movies.

Also, if you haven’t read the books, you have to.. they are even funnier than the movies!
