Primping with ABD: Face Mask Faves

If there is one thing I’d like to say I know, it’s face masks. They’re amazing for so VERY many reasons, but what I love most about them is that they make you feel like you’re on a mini vacation. There is just something so magical about a lazy Sunday evening wearing your robe, hair in a scrunchie (<– I love that word), favorite face mask on, and watching Gilmore Girls reruns with a glass of rosé in hand.

It’s like a trip to the spa with out the price tag, and over the years I have worked hard to perfect this routine!

My Favorite Kind of Mask

I have quite literally tried every type of face mask under the sun — from sheet masks to honey masks, and I keep going back to clay based masks! They are hands down my favorite. I love that EXTRA clean and glow-y feeling that they give my skin! So clearly I was THRILLED when L’Oreal launched three new clay face masks, because let’s be real… there is nothing better than drug store beauty!

Anyway, over the past few weeks I’ve been trying them out (at a $10 price point, getting all three is super easy!) and I even brought them along on our Girl’s road trip a last weekend. My mom, sister, and I put on our matching pajamas and had our very own spa night.  It was THE best!

After trying all three I have fallen in love with the Eucalyptus one. I try to use it every few days! Not only is it refreshing, but it’s so helpful after being in the Summer (Florida) sun! If you haven’t yet picked up a jar you need too. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of them, and bonus, you can combine them if you’d like (I have done this, and it’s amazing! You just look slightly creepy while it dries!). My advice is to get two of your girlfriends together, each of you bring one, and have a treat yo’self girl’s night!
