Palm Beach Done Right.
A few month ago Beth, Danielle, and I started chatting about me coming down to Palm Beach to hang out for a weekend and experience Palm Beach their way! I was of course 100% on board with this idea, because um…. Palm Beach is fancy and I like to pretend that I am fancy… so we began planning one epic trip! To be completely honest here, I did NOTHING besides show up. Beth and Danielle made this weekend happen and it was magical! Let me just tell you right now, those girls know their Palm Beach! And it was so nice to be able to completely trust someone else’s travel plans and just roll with it. We literally took their Palm Beach travel guide, and ran through it!
If you are planning a trip to Palm Beach do not, I repeat, DO NOT go without first going over to Palm Beach Lately and making sure you are doing it right!
But first, We Primp.
Obviously if we were going to be doing anything in Palm beach then we needed to look the part! So our first stop was the gorgeous Frederic Fekkai Salon at The Brazilian Court Hotel. We got blow outs and our make-up done and I’ve got to be real with you, it was truly wonderful. I felt all kinds of fancy. Also, (believe it or not!) this was my very first ever blow out and make-up! I’ve always done it myself, so it was a total treat yo’self moment!
Now Watch Me Sip…
Since the salon is inside The Brazilian Court we popped on out to the patio for a little sip! Like I said on Monday, their outdoor spaces are to die for! Seriously, so pretty! We had the best time just catching up and enjoying our new fancy blowouts before the humidity got to them! Ha!

A Sunny Stroll
After our fancy pineapple drinks we headed out on the prettiest yellow beach cruisers I’ve ever seen! The Brazillian Court has bikes that you can rent for the day/hour and to be honest, it really is the best way to see the island! If you’ve never been, Palm Beach island is so incredibly beautiful and the homes are OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD. But honestly, they are hard to see by car. Most everyone has their homes protected by huge hedges for nosey people like me… but when you bike, you can stop and walk around and be as nosey as you want! I’m mean, come on people. If you paint your house pink I reserve the right to walk around in your drive way and take photos. Just sayin’.

Pizza, duh.
I have only been to Palm Beach on two occasions and both times I heard raving reviews about Pizza al Fresco, but hadn’t ever gotten the chance to pop in and try it. So after eating there, let me just say this: YOU NEED TO GO. It’s beautiful and the pizza is amazing, AND it’s right off of Worth Avenue, so I really don’t know what else you could possibly want! Also, they have everyone’s favorite rosé, Whispering Angel, so there is that too.
Window Shopping

On Friday afternoon we did a little window shopping before we headed back to our hotel to get ready for dinner and we stumbled upon C.J. Laing… AKA the cutest store ever. We caught them right before they closed for the night and I am so glad we did! The store is not only stunning, but everything in it is beyond adorable. We chatted with the Retail Director, Daniel, for a bit and he couldn’t have been any nicer! If you are looking for the perfect Palm Beach prep, look no further.
I’m still kicking myself for not scooping up that Palm Beach tote. Gah. So. Cute.

Cocktail & Class

On Friday night Ryan and I went out for the date night of all date nights at HMF at The Breakers! The HMF bar was the one and only thing Ryan had requested for this trip, so it was so much fun to watch his face light up when the waitress delivered his perfectly made Old Fashioned cocktail. To be honest, it was one of my favorite date nights of all time. The buzz of the bar, our beautiful cocktails, and the best sushi we’ve ever tasted made for the perfect night!

Just A Dip

Early Saturday morning Ryan and I got up and headed down to our pool at the Brazilian Court. Our time was extra limited, but we didn’t want to miss out on the gorgeous pool, even if it was just for a quick dip! So of course, I put on my fanciest one-piece (it’s legit only $42! Ha!) and my tassel earrings and we went for a swim, Palm Beach style. It was the best.
I’m Moving In.

On Saturday morning Ryan and headed out to The Colony for breakfast at the Polo Bar. And all I can say is OMG. Everywhere you turned there was another amazing pattern, color, or detail. The wallpaper is to die for!
Not to mention that the breakfast was out of this world and the coffee was on point! I think I told Ryan 1,000 times that I wanted to move in. If you go to Palm Beach you MUST GO. MUST!!!
Seriously, pinky promise me you won’t miss it!

The Breakers or Bust
It’s Iconic for a reason, it’s gorgeous! The Breakers is located right on the beach and just about as fancy as you can get! On Saturday afternoon we dawned our best Lilly Pulitzer and headed out to The Breakers resort! We had THE best day just being lazy by the pool, we even ended up eating at the poolside restaurant, Ocean House, which was fantastic. If you go and don’t get the fish tacos… I’m not sure we could be friends. That. Good.
The great thing about The Breakers is their dining. The dinner we had the night before at HMF was unreal. Just being their makes you feel all kinds of Palm Beach! Also, I’m not one of those girls who is always looking to spot someone famous. I don’t even have cable TV, so I am sure I wouldn’t even recognize them, but when I go to The Breakers, I feel as if I am soooooo close to bumping into a movie star, and I don’t hate it one bit!

The Best For Last
The weeks leading up to our Palm Beach trip I kept running into friends and family members who couldn’t stop raving about Buccan, so when I saw that the girls had set dinner up there I was THRILLED! I couldn’t wait to try it out and relay back to all my people.
I hate to pick a favorite part of any trip, but this night was hands down my favorite. We had the best time just sitting around the dinner table for hours sipping on rosé and eating some of the finest food I’ve ever tasted. We told loads of old stories and laughed like we had been friends since 1992. It was one of those nights I won’t ever forget!
P.S. Get the key lime pie.. you’ll thank me later!
