Summer can mean tennis matches and rounds of golf for avid sporting men and women. It’s important (particularly in this stifling heat) to keep cool under pressure and practice good sportsmanship. Here are some things to remember.
-Don’t brag about your prowess, no one likes that!
-Don’t complain about deficiencies in your own game or that of your opponent
-Choose words carefully, avoid using foul language
-Be a gracious winner and loser. If you win, pick out some of your opponent’s best skills and compliment him or her.
-Treat sporting facilities with care–pick up after yourself, don’t litter, etc.
