Baby Girl Nursery Inspiration

All the ideas for the sweetest little room…

Honestly, it’s a dream come true to be designing and planning a little girls’ nursery! I had so much fun thinking through Laurens’ room (see inspiration here, final product here) and I have big plans for his room room in the new house. But first up is the new nursery for his little sister!

I found the above image while Pinterest searching (new home board here!) and thought… that’s it! That’s the feel I’m going for, sweet yet sophisticated. Honestly it took me a really long time to wrap my head around what I wanted to do for her nursery, it felt like the options were endless and with a completely blank space I got a little overwhelmed, but I finally landed on a look and I feel so excited about the progress.

Today’s post is all inspiration based (but keep reading to see the few items we have already purchased), and I’ll also be sure to do another big post on the actual nursery progress, along with befores and afters of the space as it comes together.

A Few Nursery Favorites

These sconces have been purchased and I’m obsessed. This ottoman, too! And here are a few other items that we’ve already decided on… including this crib that is just so pretty. Oh! And instead of blue like the above image, we are going P-I-N-K with the color. But we are definitely also adding the picture frame molding, I just couldn’t help myself. I found this shop on Etsy and the sweet owner, Julia, is making me a custom daisy pillow for the rocker. EEK!

I also have my great grandmother’s side table that I’m going to take into the furniture shop on Wednesday to see if I can have it refinished… fingers crossed! And I’m still very much so looking for a dresser (this one’s cute!), rug (love this one), and window treatments (possibly these?).

But… this table lamp is so adorable! And this little lamp is perfect for nighttime, can move anywhere you need it. And how CUTE is this kid chair! You guys, this mobile… so so sweet. I also love this simple bookshelf and this pretty mirror (on sale for $50!). And how darling are these?!
