Backyard Favorites: Kid Edition

All the fun things we play with on sunny spring days…

We have had the best sunny spring days lately (minus the pollen which is still a real situation around here!) but we’ve taken full advantage by being outside as much as possible. And obviously with toddlers we need a few fun things to keep them busy!

But truly, it doesn’t take much… like this mom hack — I bought two little spray bottles, and I fill them with water and let the kids spray anything and everything! This game usually buys me enough time to drink a full cup of coffee in one sitting, a real morning win.

Our little picnic table is a real hit when we need some shade for afternoon popsicles, our water table is the most fun on super hot days, and they love their scooters to zip around on the back patio. We also use this chalk on the driveway and it’s the best for keeping hands not-so-messy! Oh and we also love these reusable, refillable water balloons for when I’m really feeling like a fun mom and the kids can get soaked. And then we clean up with these!

We’ve had our sandbox for a few years and it’s constantly being used, it’s always the first thing the kids run for when we have their friends over. The bubble machine is instant fun and sometimes we turn it into a bubble dance party with our portable speaker!
