Best Of DIY Home Improvement… Our Favorite Projects

What we’ve done to make our house a home!

Our home has evolved so much over the years and thanks to a little teamwork, a lot of dreaming, and Ryan’s handy work we’ve really been able to turn this house into our little dream home!

Like our kitchen! It was *quite* the project, but I’m so glad we had the opportunity to tackle it ourselves. Even the cabinet color choice was a true journey! Ha! But to go back and see where we started (here are the initial plans!) and what we accomplished together is so gratifying. From the farmhouse sink we installed, to all the choices we made along the way, I still can’t believe we actually did it.

Ryan has such a good eye and together we have so much fun dreaming up projects… like with our flower box! He built and installed it under our kitchen window, and the view while making my morning smoothie makes me so happy. Speaking of views, here’s how we added all new window treatments.

And, our full backyard space transformation! Here’s where we started (looks like the land before time)… and now! We just love spending time in our little oasis.

Here’s our backyard fire pit install and project, how Ryan laid gravel and a paver patio, how he also built a cedar wood planter box and then installed a drip line to keep our flowers happy,
