  1. 1. I loved all the stories it’s hard to choose! But Jeremy and Natalie’s Story had me rolling with laughter and excitement.

    2. I purchased a little black dress last Christmas that I couldn’t pass up, still waiting for the perfect event to wear it. #SmallTownProblems

    3. Ruthie was amazing! I loved how she wanted to stick it to the mean girls, but cared to deeply for others. Her long term relationship with Arthur and their connection was my favorite.

  2. I absolutely loved this book and would never have stumbled on this on my own, so thanks!
    1. Jeremy and Natalie! I loved following their story and kept wanting to find out what happened next.
    2. Yes! I have a blue wrap dress that I love!
    3. She helped make so many story lines happen, Ruthie was amazing and I need a Ruthie of my own!

  3. Ok so I have too many books and have been limited to library books only. So I’ve been delayed but finally caught up. I finished just in time. June book was amazing

    1. Which of the nine story lines was your favorite?
A fav??? I loved Felicia and Arthur, Luke and Samantha, and of course Natalie and peeps.

    2. Do you have a little black dress or another item of clothing that makes you feel like a million bucks?
I don’t have a specific go to, but on a daily basis I try wear something that fits and gives me confidence. Nothing is better than feeling like the clothes fit like a glove. I have issues with weight and how I feel. If something makes me feel thin/slim like I was 15 years ago then

    3. We felt Ruthie was the fairy godmother of this book. How do you feel she influenced this story?
I felt she worked her magic thru influence. She told Tomas the story of the others and her thoughts. She then influenced the actions to make their story happen.

  4. 1. My favorite story line has to be Felicia and Arthur. How romantic is a second chance! I just adored them, and totally got butterflies every time their story came up.
    2. My pink lady dior bag paired with a LBD is my “million bucks” choice. Anything to make me feel classsic and feminine 🙂
    3. Fairy Godmother is the perfect way to describe Ruthie!! It takes a village!

  5. 1. While I loved the Natalie/Jeremy storyline, the Arthur/Felicia story was my fave! I loved how steadfast and hopeful Felicia was and Arthur’s proposal was adorable. I really liked the Morris Siegel story too. I liked that his story was shared and how his life’s work culmintaed in this LBD. His speech at the end of the book about how his work made women feel beautiful and happy was so sweet.

    2. I have a couple collared shirt dresses that I just adore. Classic style but I always get complimented when I wear them and who doesn’t want to hear how nice they look?

    3. It might be because I loved the Natalie/Jeremy and Arthur/Felicia stories most that I actually favored Tomas over Ruthie as a fairy godmother! I loved how he switched Arthur’s gifts and sent it all into motion and I loved how he left work with Natalie to road trip to Jeremy’s set. He nudged people in the direction of love.

This was such a cute read! Definitely going to share with some of my friends!

  6. 1. My favorite story line was the sweet Natalie’s! I can only imagine what Jermey look like…probably a hunk!
    2. I have yet to find my perfect little black dress, but I must admit that I own a lot of black!
    3. Ruthie was the glue of the story!! I feel like we would have been best friends in real life!

Can’t wait for next months read!!

  7. 1. I just loved Arthur and Felicia! I was so glad he kept up that date instead of going back to Sherri/answering her calls. I pined for my husband for years before he ever saw me as more than a friend and I just resonated with her so much. I also loved Jeremy and Natalie!
    2. Yes I purchased a black A-line dress from Talbots my senior year in college and I kid you not, every job interview I’ve worn it to since, I’ve gotten a job offer! I call it my lucky dress for a reason!
    3. Oh gosh, what a pillar of New York fashion society, that Ruthie! Her intricate character arc weaving through each story was perfection. From convincing Natalie to go with Jeremy, to that awful Bloomies shopper, she did a fabulous job serving her customers like family and watched fate do its magic. Now where do I sign up for a Ruthie?!

  8. 1. I loved Arthur and Felicia! It was sweet to see him figure out they were perfect for each other.
    2. I have my go to pieces for each season and this summer I’m loving in these smocked gauzy sundresses.
    3. I loved Ruthie! I thought she really grounded the book as she played a part in each of the characters lives. I felt like Ruthie was part of what made the book feel so magical!

  9. 1. OHH which story line was my favorite?! Probably Natalie’s! I love when a local home grown girl gets the opportunity of a life time! She works and is beautiful and charming and gets swept away – accidentally and unplanned – by a celebrity. We’ve all been in relationships where we get out of them and want to prove that the next boyfriend is the BEST one! and that happened for her!
    2. I don’t have a little black dress – shocking I know but I do have my go to black funeral dress. Terrible but true. I do have dresses that make me feel like a million bucks but I’m all for comfort over style. Does that make me a boring woman? =O My go to dress is a colorful floral maxi – I can dress it up for a bridal shower and wedges or dress it up for work with heels! It’s my favorite!
    3. I absolutely feel that Ruthie was the fairy God mother! I think she influenced the story by giving so many opportunities to so many people -whether it be Arthur or Natalie or any one who walked into the store. She seemed welcoming and happy to help when she saw it fit …or not 🙂

  10. 1. Which of the nine story lines was your favorite?
My favorite storyline was Jeremy’s! Witty and adorable.
    2. Do you have a little black dress or another item of clothing that makes you feel like a million bucks?
I adore all Calvin Klein dresses. Paired with the right pair of heels, I am unstoppable!!
    3. We felt Ruthie was the fairy godmother of this book. How do you feel she influenced this story?
Ruthie was amazing! My mom and I both read this story and adored her impact on all of her customers. Even the mean lady that got gobbled up by the sinkhole! 😉

  11. 1. Which of the nine story lines was your favorite?
I loved Natalie & Jeremy- so sweet!!
    2. Do you have a little black dress or another item of clothing that makes you feel like a million bucks?
    Do my hoop earrings count??
    3. We felt Ruthie was the fairy godmother of this book. How do you feel she influenced this story?
I loved that she cared about people enough to intervene & used her position at Bloomies to make people’s lives better!
    SUCH a good read!

  12. Can’t wait to discuss!!

    1. Oh hands down Arthur and Felicia! The sweetest story and gosh, who doesn’t love a second chance?! Also… I love Max’s grandson story, Dr McDreamy!

    2. YES! I have a LBD that I adore! It’s simple, midi length capped sleeves and makes me feel like Audrey Hepburn! —-> https://abd.social/DefiningMyStyle

    3. Gosh, I LOVE Ruthie’s character. She really was the Fairy Godmother in this narrative. I love how invested she was in all of her customers and how she valued her life’s work. I want a Ruthie in my life!
