The Perfect Thanksgiving Look |

Thanksgiving is one week away and I am so excited I can’t stand it. And if you are anything like me then you are spending your off hours researching recipes and online shopping trying to find that perfect holiday look!

Ryan and I do two Thanksgivings, one with his family and one with mine.  We usually do a Thanksgiving lunch at one house and dinner at another, but honestly it’s usually quite draining! It’s a lot of logistics running from place to place with an hour of travel in between.  This year, however, we are doing his side of the family on Thanksgiving Day and my side of the family on that Saturday… that way we aren’t cramming two MASSIVE meals into one day.  So this year I’m extra GRATEFUL to be able to enjoy both days with all of my favorite people.

I love finding the perfect outfit for a special day like Thanksgiving just as much as I love finding the perfect recipe. As soon as I saw this dress I knew it had “holiday” written all over it! It’s Fall, it’s festive, and the ruffles make if flirty! Plus it’s a shift dress that I belted, so you can eat all the pie and stuffing you want… which is key in any Thanksgiving Day outfit in my opinion!

Another thing I love about this look is that I can dress it down with boots or dress it up with a pair of heels, which means I can get a lot of wear throughout the entire season. Just think how pretty this dress would be at a cocktail party with these heels and this necklace! I’m all about getting a lot out of one look and this dress does just that!

Hope you love this look as much as I do and I’m dying to know… how are you doing Thanksgiving this year?! Dressed up or dressed down?!
