DINNER IS SERVED!

 

A few weeks I posted an Instagram of our shrimp pasta and said that it was the easiest and most ‘instagramable’ dinner that there ever was, and friends I was not lying! And so that you’d believe me, I thought I would share the recipe with you today! Also, because… let’s be real, we all want dinners that look good enough to photograph! 

Oh, and a random side note. I literally make some variation of this dish every single week. I usually substitute the whole wheat noodles for ‘zoodles’, but for special occasions… it’s pasta all. the. way!

Okay, so here we go!

Ingredients:

  • Jumbo Shrimp
  • Lemons (2)
  • Basil
  • Minced Garlic
  • Olive Oil
  • Grape Tomatoes (1 dozen or so, sliced in half)
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Whole Wheat Noodles (or zucchini for zoodles) 
  • Rosé (duh.)

Directions:

Place noodles in pot and bring to a boil. While noodles are cooking, add olive oil and garlic to a large sauté pan, and cook until fragrant. Then toss in the shrimp and tomatoes! Add in salt, pepper, lemon from one lemon, and sauté until the shrimp is fully cooked. Then drain the pasta and toss with a bit of olive oil and salt, and plate. Top pasta with shrimp, tomatoes, and fresh basil. Add in lemon wedges as garnish. AND THAT IS IT.
