The Fall Pink

Is it just me or was the color mauve growing up an icky color?! I just hated the color mauve and as a teenager would always make fun of my mom for her collection of mauve nail polish.

And yet, here we are in 2019 LOVING IT.

Every time I buy a mauve colored anything I think of all those times I used to beg my mom to wear a fun nail polish color like sparkly blue or purple with swirls of pink. Clearly my taste has evolved over the years and for that I am grateful, but I find it funny when those things you thought you would never like when you were a grown-up now seem to be your favorite things. I am slowly but surely turning into my mother and I’m here for it.

This Gal Meets Glam dress is currently my favorite mauve item for Fall that I have hanging up in my closet and I think it will pair so beautifully with these Talbots block heels that are legit SO. COMFORTABLE. Also, can we just talk about this pearl headband?! It’s currently $5 and also comes in black and is totally adorable.

Oh, and this scarf, would be so cute tied on your favorite tote or up in your hair. I love an affordable accessory that really makes an outfit come together like this one!
