Let’s Cocktail! The Paloma
It’s the perfect summer cocktail…
I’ve recently become obsessed with the paloma cocktail. The base is grapefruit juice so it feels like the perfect splash into summer! I wanted to share with you how to make a paloma with the recipe I’ve been using (it has quickly become my new favorite) because I promise you… it’s better than every other one I’ve tried!

I’ve been writing off the paloma for years because I just never loved the grapefruit-plus-soda situation. I like grapefruit, but the paloma just didn’t work for me… until I tried the Hillstone version! A few months ago, Ryan and I were sitting at the bar and I saw the bartender make a drink that looked so good. I asked her what it was and she said, “Paloma!” And I said, “Wait! No soda?” She said NOPE and shocked me… so I said, “I’ll take it!” Well, we’ve been making them ever since!
I came home that night and did a little Nancy Drew style investigating and found the recipe, or at least one that is oh-so-similar and oh-so-delicious! So I just had to share because this has become our house cocktail! We make them for friends and at home date nights. These palomas are just honestly so fun and PINK!
If you are looking for something to shake up this weekend, below is how to make a paloma… so simple and very good!

Paloma
Ingredients (serves 1 )
2 oz Casa Noble Repasado tequila (or I’ll just use whatever clear tequila I have on hand)
1 oz grapefruit juice
juice from 1/2 lime
1/2 oz agave nectar
Garnish: pink peppercorns and/or lime wedge
Directions:
Combine tequila, grapefruit juice, lime juice, and agave into shaker with ice, shake hard, and pour into martini glasses. Top it off with your favorite garnish. Enjoy!

Cheers, friends!

We drink them all the time. First had it one at an outdoor cafe in Greenwich CT. Only difference is we added a splash of tonic
