How To Style A Bodysuit Four Ways
Bodysuits are a closet staple I can’t imagine going without during summer! They can be a hit or miss for many, but when you find a good one, I promise you won’t be able to stop wearing it! My favorite one-shoulder floral print bodysuit I featured in a blog post earlier this summer was from Free People, and so is the one I’m sharing today. As much as I love a simple white tee, I’ve found myself reaching for a bodysuit instead whenever I want to wear my top tucked in. This under $50 puff sleeve bodysuit is an elevated alternative to your favorite white tee that you can style in just as many ways, and to start off, I want to show you four ways to style it.
With a Sweater Around Your Shoulders
An easy styling tip I like to incorporate in the summer is adding a draped sweater over my shoulders to any outfit. It’s an effortless addition to a bodysuit tucked into a pair of your favorite denim shorts that looks super chic. In fact, these Everlane shorts are my go-to pair and are also only $50.
With High Waisted Floral Shorts
If you like bold floral prints like me, this is also a great way to wear them. Tuck a white bodysuit into high-waisted floral shorts (or pants) for a feminine look. I especially love wearing bodysuits with anything high-waisted because it makes your outfit more polished, and you won’t have to worry about your top bunching at the waist.
With a Midi Skirt and Heels
For a simple summer date night look or dinner with friends, you can’t go wrong with a midi skirt and bodysuit! Lavender has been one of my favorite colors this season, so I’m all about this tiered lavender midi skirt that’s under $90. I’d style this outfit with floral earrings, a straw bag, and a fun pair of heels to complete the look.
With Paperbag Pants
I love this business casual look that pairs paper bag waist pants with a puff sleeve bodysuit. It’s a simple enough combination that you can easily take this look in two directions: dress it up with heels or keep it casual with white sneakers. Either way, it’s a chic outfit that will take you from work to the weekend.
