In the Kitchen
I’ve never needed an excuse to be in the kitchen, but a few new dishes or cookware certainly doesn’t hurt, ha! I love trying new recipes, and I’m always up for hosting a dinner party! So it should also come as no surprise that I love to shop for new dishes and glassware. I’ve already started to create a pretty substantial collection. But it’s hard to pass up all of those cute mugs every time I go into Anthropologie! Floral prints are a favorite of mine, and I love this little recipe box and pitcher.
Baking is one of my favorite ways to decompress, so I get a lot of use out of my cake stand! Even if you’re not baking cakes, a glass dome cake stand like this one from Target helps to keep your baked goods fresh, and looks much prettier on your countertop than a Tupperware container. I bought it last year and decided I’d give it a minor facelift by sanding off the wood stain and sealing it with mineral oil. It turned out so cute, and was a super fun weekend DIY.
I love making cocktails, and a fun cocktail glass is essential!
This summer, I’ve been reaching for these pink wrapped tumblers most nights. I truly am in love with everything Amanda Lindroth creates, and these glasses are the perfect example! They come in a set of four and are included in their tag sale for under $50.
If you have yet to try the Our Place Always Pan, you are missing out! Not only is it nontoxic, but also such a game-changer when it comes to dinnertime since it combines eight pieces of cookware into one (fry pan, saute pan, steamer, skillet, saucier, saucepan, non-stick pan, spatula, and spoon rest). I really can’t say enough good things about this pan!
