July’s Book
The Road Trip by Beth O’Leary
Happy July! 2021 is halfway over already”“I can’t believe it! Super excited to continue reading along with all of you and finishing out the year strong!
This month we are reading The Road Trip and this book made FEEL THINGS. I listened to the audiobook and I need this book to win the Oscar of audiobooks. The narration was incredible! If you are a regular audiobook reader you’ll love it and if you aren’t, this would be such a great book for dipping your toe into that medium.
Happy Reading everyone!

Why we chose it
From the editor

As someone who is quite literally getting ready to go on a Summer road trip I fell in love with this book from page one. Beth’s writing is just so captivating and the characters are complex and interesting and gosh, the slow burn is just so good! Plus I just fell hard for this crazy band of characters. Trust me, you’ll love this book.

I fell in love with Addie and Dylan’s story and thoroughly enjoyed toggling between present day in a cramped car and their romance of the past. I found myself on the edge of my seat, waiting to learn the full scope of their past and willing them to reunite in the present.
Betsy

I love a classic British rom com and this one totally delivers! I love the depth Beth brings to her characters and the quirky ensemble cast reminds me of The Royal We, which, in my opinion, is high praise indeed!
