Let’s Cook! January’s Dinner Party Menu

Let’s start this year off right…

If having people over for dinner more often this year is one of your goals for 2023, then look no further! I’ve got a fool-proof dinner party menu for you right below. This will hopefully (!) take a lot of the guesswork out of having people over for dinner this month and let you just focus on the friendships and let the food take a backseat.

Also, if you need a bit more inspiration… I have so many menus set up here! This way you are ready to entertain, start to finish… all you have to do is invite the people!

P.S. As always, everything will have a gluten- and dairy-free option if it isn’t already GF/DF friendly, so you can proceed with confidence.

The perfect way to welcome in the New Year

Old Fashioned

Love & Lemons

This just feels like the classic winter cocktail, when you’re all snuggled up by the fire, right? Choose a whiskey you love, add a dash of other ingredients, and you’re set to sip!

Warm Marinated Olives

via Ina Garten

We are on a serious olive kick in our house and cannot get enough! I’ve been scooping up fancy marinated olives all over town but I LOVE the idea of making our own. And honestly a jar of marinated homemade marinated olives would be a GREAT gift as well.

Pomegranate & Pear Green Salad with Ginger Dressing

This is such a beautiful salad! Makes such a statement… but is also delicious. Fresh fruit with greens and a ginger dressing? Yes, please! And it only looks fancy, super simple to throw together and feed a crowd.

Artichoke & Lemon Linguine

The Defined Dish

I think a cozy pasta is just right for a January meal! This one looks super simple, but also elevated and delicious.

Simple Baked Salmon

via Crem de la Crumb

Honestly, I don’t think you can ever go wrong with baked salmon. I make this at least once a week and it just feels fancy even though it’s ridiculously EASY, promise.

Flourless Chocolate Cake

via Two Peas and Their Pod

Doesn’t this just look divine? I was going to save this for February’s dinner party menu, but it’s too good not to share!

(To make cake dairy-free, sub the heavy cream for coconut cream and the butter for vegan butter… this is my favorite brand.)
