Roses and Nap Dress | MINI SUMMER BREAK

Mini Summer Break

If it sounded like crickets over here on the blog this week, you were not wrong! There has been *so* much going on behind the scenes that my typical daily blog posts just. weren’t. happening. I REALLY tried. But I couldn’t for the life of me make it happen, and I blinked and it was Friday! So I’m calling it my mini summer break, but after this week, I may need a FULL summer break… ha!

This week has been a BLAST! Ryan’s siblings are in town (5 out of the 7, plus ALL the kids!!), my childhood best friend is also in town, and today is my niece’s 1st birthday!! So you know, there has been plenty that has filled the calendar.

Anyway, all of that to say, I’m still here! 😉

But, before I go run to my next family event, I wanted to leave you with five things that have brightened my week!

Five Happy Things

1. I’m officially a Nap Dress believer. If you’ve been on the fence about ordering one, let me be the one to push you over! I actually L-O-V-E mine, and I totally get the hype. Just make sure you size down!

2. Well, ordered the viral Stanley Thirst Quencher cup a few weeks ago, and, hate to admit it, I’m loving it. Sadly, it’s currently sold out, but it looks like it will be coming back in stock soon!

3. I *was* in a cooking rut, but Carly told me about The Defined Dish, and I’ve made a few of her recipes this week (this and this) and both were stellar.

4. While Ryan’s bothers were over earlier this week, they helped us put down our new bedroom rug and WOW it’s so pretty. We’ve been working on getting this room together, and I’m excited to finally have the rug in.

5. I’m INTO the Everlane shorts! They are seriously so comfortable and true to size. If you are looking for a great pair of shorts that won’t break the bank, these are GOOD.

Okay, that’s all for now! But there’s more on tomorrow’s weekend newsletter, make sure you are on the list!

Happy Weekend, friends!
