A few weeks ago I mentioned HOW in love I was with the new Lilly Pulitzer x Goop collection.  From all the photos I had seen online it looked so beautiful and I loved seeing a collaboration with Gwyneth Paltrow and such an iconic Florida brand! I’ve been drooling over the maxi dress for weeks, wondering if it was actually as lovely as I thought it was or if it was just the “Gwyneth Effect.”  Was I delusional? Today I’m here to say that it’s even more gorgeous in person and it fits like an actual dream.

When I ripped open the LP shipping box and excitedly slipped it on I knew as soon as I zipped it up that this dress was exactly what I thought it was. Perfection. And I instantly felt like a million bucks! 

This is one of those dresses that is special enough to wear on an Anniversary date night, to a wedding, or to pack for your girls beach getaway… but it’s also easy enough to wear that you’ll want to pull it out on a Sunday morning for church or a random Tuesday for drinks al fresco with your girlfriends. It’s THE dress that’ll keep you coming back. 

One thing I love about it (besides, everything) are the button slit details on the sides. You are able to adjust how high or low you want the slits, which is really fun! If you are looking for a special dress to round out the season, this one has your name all over it!
