Bright and Cozy
We’ve been spending quite a lot of time in this little room, so I thought it was time I gave you a tour of our bright and cozy living room. Our house is a bungalow so we don’t have tons of space, but the space we do have we’ve maximized!
Of course we have a giant list of things we want to do to this space and we were actually planning on doing a big overhaul this year, but you know… timing, ha!
Our dream is for Ryan to create built-ins along that entire wall (see below!) to give us more storage and really utilize every square inch. A new frame tv, and of course wood flooring, but for now… it’s perfectly sweet and cozy, and more than we need.
Below EVERYTHING is linked, and I have little tidbits under the photos we included as well, I hope you find everything you are looking for! And if I can recommend one thing, LET IT BE THIS COUCH. Hands down the best purchase we’ve ever made.

We have tons of personal touches in our living room, but my two favorites are our match/cork collection and our yearly photo albums! So many sweet memories.

Another favorite spot is our gallery wall! I used these Pottery Barn frames to create the wall and printed out our favorite black and white photos from over the years. And honestly… I should update this wall! We have so many great photographs, it’s hard to choose! 😉

I always get TONS of questions about our book collection and what those books are across the top of the bookshelf, and it’s Ryan’s complete set of The Great Works of The Western World that he’s ALWAYS reading. They aren’t just for show, he’s slowly making his way through each one!

… and last but not least, this couch. Buying a couch is SUCH a big decision and y’all this is the best one we’ve ever made. I seriously can not stress to you just how much I love this couch. It is SO unbelievably cozy.
Do you remember which fabric you chose for the couch? Love what you picked!
Hi Lindsey! It’s the “Oatmeal Performance”.
Absolutely love your summery style! The way you arranged those framed prints on your wall is just to die for. Cheers! (And did I mention your dog is adorable…)
Ah! Thank you, made my day! xx
Thank you for this post!! I absolutely LOVE your house and this was like waking up to Christmas morning I was so excited not to have to bother you for links to various things in your living room. Also – I can’t believe you painted that picture!! That is amazing!!!
Alisha! You are so sweet! Thank you for your sweet comment! Means the world… hope you find everything you are looking for!
