Making a Fall Statement

Flirty & Fun

A few weeks ago, Ryan and I spent the weekend with friends at The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach! We’ve spent a lot of time over the years in Palm Beach, but we’ve never stayed at The Breakers, so this trip was a real treat! We didn’t have much planned while we were there other than just hanging out by the pool, napping, and one fancy dinner reservation at Buccan.

If you ever find yourself in Palm Beach, Buccan is a MUST, in my opinion. We’ve been many times, and it never disappoints! When I was starting to think about packing for this trip, I knew I wanted to bring along one *special* dress–something different! So when I stumbled across this Staud dress on ShopBop, I knew immediately that it was what I was looking for; something about it just felt very “Palm Beach Fall” to me!

I added to cart, and the rest was history…

I like to find a special something for every trip, even if it’s a new dress from Walmart (like this $24 one I picked up for a quick trip to Charleston this weekend!). It doesn’t have to be all that fancy, just something new! For this trip, I just couldn’t stop thinking about this dress once I spotted it. I loved that it was a bit flirty and different and truly, I felt like a million bucks in it!

It will forever be my fancy-Buccan-date-night-in-Palm-Beach dress, and I kind of love that. 😉
