Thanksgiving Table Three Ways
Thanksgiving is coming, and I could not be more excited! We have family coming into town, parties lined up, and recipes to make… I’m truly counting down the days. Gathering around the table with our nearest and dearest just fills me up so much. I love reflecting on what I’m thankful for, and enjoying all of our family’s favorite dishes (here’s a great gf/df menu if you need one!). The meal is definitely the star of the show (the parade being a close second for me!). And when we’ve hosted in the past, I am all about dressing up the table.
I think a beautiful table really sets the scene for your Thanksgiving dinner, and can totally set the mood and ambiance for the type of celebration you are having. So I thought today I would share three different styles of table settings, and hopefully one or more will inspire you as you begin to plan your Thanksgiving meal.

Natural Elegance Thanksgiving Table
I recently got several new pieces in from Sea to Skye that really capture my personal aesthetic for this year’s table! I’m really drawn to pieces that are inspired by nature, especially blues and greens, but that have little bit of an elevated or polished feel, like these amber glasses and this wildflower printed tablecloth. I love these plates for Thanksgiving, and I think they would transition beautifully into Christmas and beyond. (And let’s be honest, they match the kitchen, which means I’m totally sold.)
And I love adding a bit of “nature” to any table with fresh fruit! This tablescape was so easy to put together with grocery store flowers, apples, and pears. Simple, sweet, and inviting.

Glam Thanksgiving Table
I love how everyone does Thanksgiving a bit differently. And honestly, for us, some years are f-a-n-c-y, and some years we are in denim! But, if you are a fan of the fancy Thanksgiving, dressing up, pulling out the good china, and maybe lettering a place card for your guests, then the glam Thanksgiving table is for you. When I think about setting this table, I envision lots of candle light, luxurious textures, like velvet and brocade, and subtle metallic accents.
Honestly, you can never go wrong with a glam table in my opinion!
Cozy Thanksgiving Table
If I were hosting Thanksgiving at our family’s cabin in Georgia, this is the table I would put together! I love the idea of using a cozy throw draped over the backs of chairs to really warm up the space. And using faux (or live) pumpkins as table runners to lean into the look of the season. I would pair chunky glassware with stoneware plates, light the fireplace, and snuggle in for the best meal of the year.
Oh! And candles, lots and LOTS of candles!
I hope these different tablescape ideas help inspire you as you plan your Thanksgiving or any gathering you have coming up. I would love to know how you’re setting your table for the holidays. So feel free to leave a comment below or tag me on Instagram. Happy Thanksgiving friends!
