Easter Weekend

We had the loveliest Easter weekend. On Friday night we went “out” for date night and did curbside pickup at Hillstone, our favorite restaurant. Later we ended up playing Go Fish in the backyard until WAY past our bedtime. We spent most of Saturday doing house chores, but we did spend some time in the morning “lounging” in the yard with coffee and it was so much fun! And on Sunday I woke up with so much energy and was ready to get back in the kitchen! I made a fun and fancy brunch, yummy sweets, and a good old fashioned picnic for lunch/dinner. I washed a billion dishes, but it was WELL worth it. We even ended up putting on our Sunday best after watching church and capturing a few self timer shots, that I will most definitely be framing. I miss our families so much, but am forever grateful for this time together making sweet and unforgettable memories.

5 Things I'm Loving

Padded Floral Headband

I don’t know about you but I’ve been wearing a lot of headbands recently! It’s an easy way to feel put together without a lot of work… plus it’s a great way to “hide” those roots, ha! This is my favorite spot to shop for hair accessories recently, so many great options at amazing prices. This one is only $24!

Pretty Puzzle

We are back on our nightly puzzle routine, and I kind of love it. It’s honestly such a great way to unwind at the end of the night… but now I’m finding myself browsing puzzles online! There are so many pretty ones, I can’t help it!

Easy Chambray

I have been loving easy dresses lately. I honestly find them to be more comfortable than workout clothes and help brighten my mood! I like feeling put together even if I have no where to go. And this dress for $35 has all the makings of a perfect work from home frock!

I Love Lucy

I’ve been re-watching I Love Lucy (on Hulu!), and I’ve got to tell you…. it was a good move. This is by far my favorite show of all time. My grandma, sister, and I would pop popcorn almost every Saturday night and snuggle under one of her mother’s homemade quilts and watch episode after episode until my sister and I fell asleep. It’s one of my fondest childhood memories, and no one can make me laugh quite like Lucy.

Comfy + Cozy

This is influenced by two of my favorite bloggers Grace and Jacey… they both have this pullover and I’ve had it in my amazon cart since I first saw Jacey wear it. UGH. It looks so cozy, plus it’s longer and covers the booty, AND the price is crazy good. Do I need it?!
