DIY Weekend
Well, we spent the entire weekend ripping apart our house, ha! Ryan and I are remodeling our kitchen and are DIY-ing as much as we possibly can. SO much more on this to come including, IGTVs, before and afters, and tutorials… but for now all you need to know is that my house is currently a DISASTER.
We took down cabinets, removed back spash, wired, and re-drywalled the kitchen. And, truth be told, it was hilarious, exhausting, and at times… terrifying. At one point around 1:30 am on Sunday morning when Ryan was stomping around in that attic and I was holding a flashlight behind the drywall waiting for him to drop the electrical down, I thought to myself, WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE WE DOING?! Needless to say, I have full faith in Ryan’s DIY skills and I’m a fairly good partner in crime, so fingers crossed we will look back at this moment in a few months and say, “wow, I’m really glad we did that!”
Like I said, SO MUCH MORE to come. Including an entire post on picking cabinet paint colors. So don’t worry!
5 Things I'm Loving
Original Paintings on Etsy
My friend Sally posted about this Etsy shop on Friday and I haven’t been able to get this painting out of my head since. So beautiful and such a great price in my opinion!

Birken-Espadrilles
You know I love my birken-crocks, so when I saw these I thought YES. So cute! Love the espadrille feel with the casualness of the birkenstock! The perfect easy to wear summer sandal.

Oven Mitts
We got a new oven, and OMG she’s so pretty! So naturally I needed a new pair of oven mitts! 🙂

Sally!! I think I need it! Such a great find, friend! xx
Yikes! Electrical work is the one thing I would want to hire out. That can be dangerous. Having said that, can’t wait to see the projects and changes.
Thanks Jane! Ryan is actually a very skilled electrician, believe it or not! 🙂 So grateful for his handiness! ha! Can’t wait to take you along for the ride!
