Monday Morning Musings | No. 153
Full Bloom!
We had such a great, low key, sunny weekend! The weather here has been so beautiful, and EVERYTHING is in bloom. Our neighborhood has vibrant pops of pink and yellow around every corner, and it’s stunning. Even though we are sneezing up a storm with all of this pollen, there’s no place I’d rather be than outside.
On Saturday, we sipped coffee on the porch and then took Dolly on a long walk up to the baseball fields. She loves running around chasing birds, and it’s truly hilarious. She looks like a bunny! It was a great way to kick off the weekend. I spent the rest of the weekend organizing our pantry, doing 1,000 loads of laundry, and other house chores! But I also managed to squeeze in precisely two chapters in my book before falling asleep in a lawn chair, baked daisy-shaped sugar cookies, and made a few dinners that were noteworthy. All in all, it was such a great few days off, but I’m ready for Monday–so let’s do this!
