Mini Weekend Recap

This past weekend was decently low key compared to last weekend’s holiday craziness, and all of the weekends until 2022 ahead, so we soaked it in! On Friday, I went with my sister to take my niece to see Santa, and we made a whole day of it! We did lunch, a little holiday shopping, and more. Such a fun day, just us girls! Later that night, Ryan made a fire and we roasted s’mores. It was such a sweet way to end the week!

On Saturday, we spent pretty much the entire day either working on house projects or in the kitchen. I had two cookie swap parties on the calendar this week (one was last night!), so I dedicated most of my Saturday to my Kitchen Aid Mixer! I ended up making these cookies (which are unreal, full blog post coming later this week with all my adjustments!) and this coffee cake, a staple in our house. It was just so nice to put on an audio book and zone out in the kitchen. We then rounded out the evening by starting Seinfeld from the beginning… it’s just so good.

And on Sunday, we went to church, ran errands, finished up a little baking, and then headed out to my 1st Cookie Swap Party of the year! Such a fun and festive way to kick off the Christmas season!

I’m just so excited about all the parties, events, parades, and weddings in the next few weeks… it’s already a very merry season.

Honestly, Ann Taylor has some of the most comfortable shoes. I have a few pairs in my closet, and I’m always reaching for them. But these bow slingbacks caught my eye. ARE THEY NOT PERFECT?!

Boxwood Wreaths

If you are still looking for wreaths, all of our indoor boxwood wreaths are from Target, and we love them and have had them for years! In Florida, I can’t put them outside because of the humidity, but they do great inside. I always get questions about our indoor wreaths, and this is what we’ve got!
