Mini Weekend Recap

Our weekend was full and festive, I’m sure like most of yours! It really is the most wonderful and busiest season of all. On Friday night, I went to a cookie exchange party (I brought these cookies!) at one of my best friend’s homes, and we had a blast. Not only was the company lovely, and the cookies delicious, but she also had an adult craft table set up… which you know I *loved*! Such a fun night with new and old friends.

On Saturday, Ryan and I snuck out for a quick breakfast at one of our favorite places in town, Canvas. Sometimes you just need someone else to make the eggs, you know?! And then we headed down to my parent’s house for the BIG neighborhood golf cart parade.

Byrdie Golf Dress c/o

I grew up in Titusville, Florida and my parents still live in the same home I grew up in, so going back is always so much fun and feels just like a Hallmark movie.

My grandma lives across the golf course from my parents, and my sister and brother-in-law just bought a house in the same neighborhood. So to say going home is cozy would be an understatement. And with it being such a small town, EVERYONE shows UP to all of the fun holiday events. So on Saturday night there were over 200 dressed up golf carts parading through the neighborhood, throwing out candy to the kids, while we roasted hotdogs and marshmallows in the driveway fire pit. It truly was such a fun night!

And on Sunday after church, we snuck off to our favorite spot for a lunch date. He was traveling all last week, and I just wrapped my busiest week of the year… and it was BEYOND nice to just sit and catch up over the best kale salad and french fries in town!

But guys, as I sat down to write this post I realized that Christmas is in 12 days–HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?! We have another full week of festivities and truthfully I’m soaking up every second of it. Cheers to our coffee being extra strong this Monday, because we have a lot to do!

A new to me brand, Byrdie Golf, sent me THE cutest little golf dress! I can’t get enough of it. I wore it on Saturday to the Golf Cart Parade buttoned all the way down without the shorts, and I can’t tell you how many compliments I got on it. Truly it’s so adorable and I love the stretch fabric!

Loving

Pretty Loungewear

I joke with my girlfriends all the time that I have two modes only: full on fancy or pajamas… I’m not really a fan of anything in between! Ha! So it’s safe to say that I like my loungewear drawer to be well stocked. And I got suckered into ordering the latest drop from Lake pajamas after getting two instagram ads in a row, and I’m glad I did. I may NEVER take these off. Seriously, F-I-V-E stars.

I honestly just realized last week that our trip to our family cabin in Blue Ridge is kind of like, right around the corner! EEK! So I popped on over to Amazon and ordered a few sweaters to wear over leggings, and I cannot get over how good this one is. I am considering a second color!
