Monday Morning Musings | 192
Ready for the week!
Good morning and happy Monday, friends! It was so rainy and chilly here this weekend which was such a fun change. It made the last few days feel *extra* cozy!
On Saturday morning Ryan and I headed out in search of breakfast and hot coffee. We ended up at Canvas Market, one of our favorite local places! We then came home to spend the rest of the afternoon baking (this!) and organizing for me, and construction on the nursery for him! Later that evening we went out to celebrate one of my best friend’s belated birthday’s at Ravenous Pig in Winter Park, which was a blast!
We hadn’t been to Ravenous Pig in YEARS and it was truly so great, plus, there’s little not to love about being out on the town with your best people. But I have to say I was so surprised by how many items on the menu could be made both gluten/dairy free! A real treat!
On Sunday we spent more time organizing and cooking, and went on a long freezing walk! Truthfully we are in full nesting mode over here and having the best time getting every little corner of this house in order. Such a sweet season.

Okay, so now that I’ve totally caught you up on the weekend happenings, let’s talk about the five things I’m currently loving… ha! I may or may not have included TWO recipes, whoops!
Hope you enjoy! xx
5 Things I’m Loving
one of everything, please!

1.
Blue & White Midi Dress ($49!)
I find the best dresses at Old Navy, and this one looks *so* good! Love the color and cut.
So pretty and simple.

2.
Spaghetti Squash Pad Thai
Last night I made Define Dish’s Pad Thai recipe and OH MY GOSH. It was truly, unreal. We are having friends over for dinner this upcoming weekend and I’m kind of thinking I’m going to make it again for them… it was *that* good.
Definitely add this one to your list!

4.
Etsy Find!
Crazy Little Silks is one of my favorite Etsy shops for statement earrings. I have quite a few pairs and have loved them ALL!
These are my newest obsession. ($45!!)

5.
Neapolitan Cookies
I’m obsessed with everything Sarah makes and I’ve had my eye on this recipe ever since I made this one over the holidays. I think it would make the perfect Valentine cookie, don’t you?!
… now let’s just see if I can make these gluten and dairy free! 😉
When I was pregnant last summer, I saw the bunny with the crown of daisies and told my mom I NEEDED it for my little girl. Growing up, my favorite doll was a bunny too and daisies are my favorite flower. It’s a perfect match and it for a good cause too!
I could not agree with Jen more! I absolutely love your Monday morning posts–they add a spot of joy to the day (as does all of your content) and are always so fun to read through! Thanks for keeping it light (and not political–so refreshing to know I can come here and avoid all of that happening on the internet!) xo
Liz!!! This is the kindest. Thank you. Means the world.
Hi Ashley, just a quick note to say that I find your positivity and appreciation for the simple things in life so lovely! And especially on a Monday morning.
Jen
London
Jen!! Thank you so much for taking the time to send such a kind note, means more than you know! xoxo
We lived in Orlando for years and Ravenous Pig was one of our all-time favorite restaurants! It tickled me to see it’s one of your favorites too. Have a great week!
Melissa! It’s SO good!! Haven’t been in like 100 years, but will definitely be going back! xx
