Monday Morning Musings | No. 204
The happiest Easter weekend!
This weekend was filled to the brim with family events and it was just *so* much fun. I felt like we hopped around (ha!) from house to house for the past few days, and honestly I wouldn’t want it any other way. We kicked off the weekend on Friday night with a big family dinner and ended the weekend the same way… which is kind of the best, if you ask me!
On Sunday we were even able to celebrate Easter with *both* sides of our families! After church we had a little brunch at our house with my family, and then headed down to Ryan’s parents for Easter dinner—truly so much fun and something I don’t take for granted. Living within driving distance from both sides of our families is SUCH a gift. Although, I will say I am definitely NOT ready for Monday! By the time we got home last night, I crawled right into bed… happy, full, and very pregnant!
Okay, now that I’ve totally caught you up on our weekend, let’s get into the five things I’m loving right now…
5 Things I’m Loving
A few new obsessions…
Yellow Gingham Daisy Dress
I wore this dress on Sunday and it made me feel like sunshine! It’s just the *happiest* dress of all time. I feel like I’ll be wearing this one over and over again until October!
Daisy Woven Tote
Ummmmmmm, I need this, right?!?!?!? I stumbled across this bag on Friday and instantly added it to my wishlist!
Amazon Athletic Dress
My girlfriend Kate (from The Small Things blog) did a review on athletic dresses that I thought was brilliant! This Amazon one was at the top of her list, so I made a note. I’m going to need cute walking-baby-in-stroller outfits when he arrives, right? Yes!
Striped Green Pants
I’m by NO MEANS rushing this season of pregnancy, as I’m truly soaking up every last week, but I can’t wait to wear pants with a waist again! These (from Madewell) are at the TOP of my list. Comfortable, cute, and totally “Coastal Grandmother” chic.
H&M Gauzy Cover-Up
H&M continues to blow me away this season! I love just about everything, including this under $35 cover-up. It’s totally feminine and absolutely practical.
