A birthday weekend to remember!

My birthday was on Thursday and it was most definitely my favorite birthday yet! I kept kicking myself that morning as I sat on the floor next to a snuggly little baby drinking my coffee as he “attempted” to work on tummy time without falling asleep. It was the best start to the day! Later that evening Ryan and I went out for chips, guac, and margaritas… which in my opinion, is better than cake!

Then on Saturday we met up with my family in Winter Park for a little brunch on Park Avenue. We went to my favorite spot, New General, and then sat in the park while we fed the baby and my niece ran around in the sunshine. Once it started to get a little too hot we all said our goodbyes, and we headed home for an afternoon movie with a side of thunderstorms… my FAVORITE way to spend a Saturday! We ended up watching Hustle, highly recommend!

Sunday was spent doing little chores around the house here and there, along with an afternoon stroll in the park. We wrapped up the weekend with homemade pizza and lots of baby snuggles. I’m not sure we could have had a better few days if we had tried!

Color Block For Summer

I cannot get over this dress! Doesn’t it just *look* like summer?! Actually, it looks like a perfect stack of sorbet to me… and I’m here for it! Such a good find and price.

Summer Everything Bag

If you are looking for a new summer bag that will go with everything, this one stopped me in my tracks! I use my woven leather tote almost every day, and I love the playful version here with the bows. It’s still a neutral, but just has a bit of character! LOVE.
