From tea parties to date nights…

It was another fun (and sweltering!) weekend for the books! We had a very low key Friday night that ended with a family walk, an extra bubbly bath time, and an early bedtime for us all, which is kind of the best.

On Saturday, a few of my girlfriends threw a “just because” tea party (I wore this dress!) for us and our little ones, and honestly, why aren’t we doing this more often?! We had *so* much fun. There were homemade scones, clotted cream, jam, finger sandwiches, floral arrangements, and, of course… tea.

The morning started off with fine china (like mine!) and heirloom silver, and ended in a dance party to Whitney’s greatest hits around the kitchen island as we washed and put away dishes. Laurens was the only gentleman in attendance, but I think he loved the attention! Nothing like a bunch of little girls oohing and aahing over you!

Then I headed home to drop off the baby and back out for some me time at the nail salon. I grabbed a latte, my latest read, and my favorite HOT pink polish for an hour of bliss. You really can’t underestimate what a pedicure will do for your mood!

And if that wasn’t enough fun for the day, my parents came over and scooped up baby Laurens while Ryan and I headed out for a movie date night to see Top Gun Maverick! Truly, going back to the movies was such a treat, and I love seeing a theater full with both people and excitement. We’ve seen two movies in the past month (we saw Elvis while in Blue Ridge!) and I’m loving this trend for us… ha!

On Sunday, we headed out for church and bunch with friends. Laurens wore these teeny tiny loafers (it was hysterical!) and I wore my favorite go-to linen dress. Then we ended up at our favorite little cafe catching up with friends well into the afternoon, which made for such a sweet Sunday and the perfect way to wrap up the weekend. I only wish we had just one more day!

Give Me All The Beads

I wear my Jade beaded necklace a few times a week… it’s just so pretty and adds a fun pop to any outfit! But I am in LOVE with this pastel one. I feel like it would go with everything!

I can’t get over the new collaboration between Caitlin Wilson and Provence Poiriers! This tablecloth is just so darn pretty… the perfect addition to any dinner party, don’t you think?!

Give Me The Glow

I’m so into Laura Mercier’s new RoseGlow collection! I’ve been exclusively using the color “dirty rose” since the day I got it. It’s really such a pretty and natural color pink. Can’t say enough good things about this product!
