Mother’s Day weekend fun…

I’m genuinely so sad that the weekend is over… we had one of our very best! On Sunday night, while walking home from the park before dinner, I just kept saying “One. more. day.!!!” In the end we didn’t do all that much, and nothing that was totally noteworthy, but it was perfect. We took naps, went to breakfast, stopped by the bookstore, spent time with family, went to multiple parks, sipped cocktails in the sunshine, and had friends over for pizza.

For me, it truly was an ideal weekend and it being Mother’s Day was just icing on the cake.

And although I’m bummed the weekend is over, I’m excited for a fun week ahead! Lots of great work projects, a girls’ night, playdates, and a staycation to look forward to! Plus Ryan and I are hoping to squeeze in an at-home date night, I really want to see the movie Air, have you seen it?! I’m thinking popcorn, candy… the whole thing!

So on second thought, this week isn’t looking all that bad! Anyway, now that I’ve totally caught you up on our weekend, let’s get into the five things I’m loving right now…

Party Ready

I am living for all of the bright colors lately, and when I spotted this dress in the Rails’ catalog over the weekend I instantly went to hunt it down online. I mean, it’s so fun and would be a great party dress! I’m also living for this new bold but simple silhouette from J.Crew! So good.

Pretty Table Cloths

Table linens are my weakness and this pretty scalloped one has been calling my name… and now it’s on sale. I’m ready to throw a little kick-off to summer party and this would be the perfect addition!

Also, this tablecloth is also living rent free in my brain currently, BUT I feel like I could make it. Just a little rickrack and a plain linen tablecloth… I don’t know could be a fun DIY project!!

Lunchbox Time

Ah! I can’t believe my *baby* is now eating enough food to warrant a lunchbox. HOW did we get here?! I thought this one was super cute and perfect to throw in the diaper bag when we are out and about! Laurens is a great eater and will typically just have whatever I’m having, but I always feel better knowing I have a handful of things on hand just in case!

The lunchbox also fits these bento boxes!

The Perfect Bag?

Well, I may have just stumbled upon the most perfect bag… honestly! The bow, the shade of pink, the shape, it’s all perfect. Would be so cute with this, this (very Sophia Richie!), and THIS!

Magic Potion

This face oil may just needs it’s very own post I love it that much. It hydrates and brightens my skin without leaving it oily and or broken out. I’m not sure what it is about this product, but I am putting it on auto-renew. It truly is transformative.

So as far as skincare recently it’s been this and sunscreen… that’s it!
