Cozy weekend at home…

Hello, hello! I hope your week is off to a great start! We spent the weekend laying *so* low and it was truly wonderful. We went to breakfast, had a dinner with friends, but mostly spent our days on the floor of our living room with Laurens just playing!

Although, we did organize and clean out the nursery… we boxed up all of the baby things from bottles to swaddles and took them to storage which felt like such a big step, one that I had been seriously avoiding! But to soften the blow, we swung by Goodwill on the way home and picked up a little ride-on red airplane for $3!! The joy on Laurens’ face when he realized it was his was pure heaven. I miss the baby snuggles, but wouldn’t trade this stage for the world!

Anyway, not much to report this weekend, and it was exactly what I was hoping for! But, let’s get into the exciting stuff shall we?!….

We are *so* close to walking over here so I scooped up a new pair of shoes for Laurens that a few friends recommended! They are adorable and he loves them.

It’s all about the socks!

Aren’t these “match make” socks adorable!? I don’t play tennis, but I can totally do a cute tennis sock! Would be a great gift too!

Summer Travel Essential

I just ordered a new travel iPhone tripod! Ours bit the dust and I cannot even begin to tell you how much use we get out of this thing! They make family photos (more here!) a breeze, and I keep it in my diaper bag for all the on-the-go photos.
