Monday Morning Musings | No. 264

Full of family time…

We had a big weekend! So much celebrating, so much cake, so (very!) many cousins. But by the time Sunday rolled around we all three were tuckered out, in the best way possible!

A few of Ryan’s brothers where in town which meant we were able to get 14 of the 16(!) first cousins together to play all weekend long! I love being a part of such a big family and Laurens is OBSESSED with his cousins… hanging out on the floor in the living room with a handful of trucks and a bunch of the big kids is a total dream. It’s always chaotic, but always so much fun!

My sister had these cups made with Sequins & Lipstick on Etsy!

We also got the chance to spend time with my family for Evie Rose’s (my niece!) third birthday party, which was a blast! My sister and brother-in-law threw the cutest backyard “Camp Rosebud” themed birthday party where no detail was spared, it truly was the cutest cotton candy colored afternoon. But we didn’t stop with one party, ha! After “Camp Rosebud” wrapped we hopped back in the car to catch my nephew’s 17th birthday pool party! So much cake and so much to celebrate.

Even though these weekends where we have family events on both sides can sometimes get a little crazy with a lot of driving, it is alway worth it. It will never be lost on me how wonderful it is to be able to see all of our family so very often. Truly the best.

Now that we’ve caught up, let’s get into the five things I’m loving!

5 Things I’m Loving

Love this round up!

Dreamy Dress

How pretty is this dress?! I love the colors, the smocking, and the one shoulder! Also would be so pretty with this sweater draped over your shoulders once the temps start to drop!

$15 Baby Sweater

I’m so glad they brought this style of sweater back, I had a few for Laurens that he wore non-stop this past winter, but I needed something cozy for an upcoming trip, so immediately added to my cart!

Cropped Crochet Sweater

I am obsessed with this sweater! I have it in a size small and it’s just so darn pretty. You can see it in action here and here! Obsessed.

Potting Table

If I had a spot for this in our backyard I would scoop it up immediately! Just so pretty and a great way to bring a little style to the outdoors.

Kitchen Cutting Board

I ordered a few of these to pull out for easy chopping last week. I love our big wooden chopping boards, but these are so great when I’m making Laurens lunch and for quick meal prep. I can just pop them in the dishwasher when I’m done! Also, bonus, they match our kitchen!
