It was a reset weekend for us…

We had a total reset weekend and honestly it was heavenly! Our big weekend project (besides laundry!) was cleaning out our office closet where we tend the SHOVE everything that doesn’t have a home, so it was literal chaos. We spent both nap-time and post bedtime on Saturday and Sunday with a giant black trash bag in hand and tossed so many random cords (I kept thinking of this video, ha!). We also shredded a billion pieces of paper, we’re talking receipts from like 2015… it was wild!

The real problem is that our little office walk-in closet (this is what we use to divide the space) really isn’t functional at all, so we gave up on being truly organized in there a long time ago. But recently decided that if we want to give it a makeover (which we desperately do!) we’d have to first get everything already in there situated. So this was step one and I’m proud of us! It was so daunting but I’m really glad we made time for it.

We even made a family trip to the Container Store where we picked up a few of these (which I am obsessed with) and these bins. There’s still more to do, we need new filing cabinets, etc., but I’m happy to say, so far it’s all working!

Other than organizing we spent a lot of time playing in the backyard. Laurens is super into football (“putball” he says!) and has been carrying Ryan’s football around the house all day every day so we swung by the store and picked up one that was his size. It’s honestly THE CUTEST. Football, bubbles, and chalk… he’s the happiest guy around.

I know I keep talking about this lipstick, but it’s because it is that good. I have the color “Romanced” and I think you need it too!

It’s Sezane knit season! In my opinion no one makes a prettier cardigan than Sezane. All of my closet favorites are the brand, and this season’s cardigans are too dreamy to be true.

Tiny Floral Fleece

One of my favorite pieces I got for Laurens last year was a truck fleece from Boden so I keep popping on to see if they have a new version for this season… so far no luck for the boys but THIS IS SO CUTE for the girls. I’m obsessed with the floral pattern!

Velvet Ballet Flats
