Monday Morning Musings | No. 282
Good morning and happy Monday to you! I just sat down to write this post and as I was thinking through our weekend, I just keep thinking, gosh, that was fun!
On Friday night I got together with a few moms in the neighborhood for a little festive cookie decorating and it was so much fun! I’m so grateful for these women, and that we are all in walking distance of one another, seriously such a treat. And on Saturday we ran errands, swung by our favorite coffee shop for treats, and played “kick the ball” as Laurens calls it outside for what felt like hours! It was a sweet and low-key day!
And we rounded out the weekend at The Oxford Exchange for our annual tea (and story time!) with Santa and Mrs. Clause! We went last year and it was so much fun that we’ve made it our little tradition and one we really love. Ryan and I were married at The Oxford Exchange ten years ago this summer (WILD!) so it’s always such a special treat to go back… especially with Laurens in tow.
We made a whole day of it, and gosh, it was so much fun. My family came along and it was so cute to see the cousins excited (… and then not so much, ha!) about Santa and the cookies!!
Anyways, it was a really great festive and slow weekend, which is great since this next week is our marathon-of-events week and I can’t wait! Not I’m off to write a to-do list a million miles long… so cheers to Monday and the five things I’m loving!
