Monday Morning Musings | No. 283
Oh my gosh, happy LAST Monday before Christmas!! And also my last Monday Morning Musings post of the year. I love these posts, they are the ones I look forward to the most each week, so thank you for being here and following along! I’ll never be able to thank you enough for your support and love.
This weekend was a FUN one. We kicked it off with a Christmas pageant where Laurens was a supposed to be a teeny tiny sheep but refused to participate and only wanted to kick a soccer ball (can you blame him?!). I about died, the whole thing was hysterical. Each year a few of our friends get together to do a Christmas pageant in their front lawn with all the kids and it’s always hoot! Pure chaos in the very best way. I’m just so grateful I get to do life with these sweet people and that we get to make all of these memories together.
And on Saturday I attended my niece’s ballet recital which was truly a highlight of my season. Is there anything cuter than teeny tiny ballerinas?! Seriously the whole afternoon was such a treat! And then I did a little quick change, and Ryan and I headed out to grab a quick bite before heading out to our favorite Christmas party of the season, each season. So many friends under one roof, always a great night!
THEN on Sunday after church my family came over to do our Christmas and we had so much fun. We made french onion soup, opened gifts, and played with all of our new toys. To be honest, as soon as our heads hit the bed on Sunday night we were OUT. What a full and festive weekend.
