So good to be in the groove…

Hi! Good morning and happy Monday to you! I have to say, I’ve missed y’all. Juliet is officially two months old (how???), we are moved into our new home, the majority of the renovations are starting to wrap up, Laurens has started preschool (OMG), and we are finding our footing little by little.

Things are still, how do I put it… CHAOTIC, but at least it’s the chaotic that I’ve come to expect and love. When I’m asked how it is having two little ones now, I can honestly say they are the easiest and happiest part of my day! Of course we are newborn sleep deprived and navigating two-year-old toddler life, but days with our little crew are really really good.

And even our home renovations are coming along! Every day is a wild ride of dust, dirt, and loud noises, but we genuinely have the kindest crew. We knew living through a renovation would be hard (I mean, we did have an idea of what we were getting ourselves into) and just like we thought, it’s been well… hard. But the kids love it! Laurens is in HEAVEN with our crew and looks forward to seeing our guys every single morning, and Juliet happily snoozes through constant nailing and sawing like the angel baby she is! To be honest, doing these renovations felt like a “do it now and rip the bandaid off” type of situation and I am ultimately glad we did.

We’ve done a lot of work, but we left the primary bathroom and kitchen to focus on all the kid areas. One day we will put our spin on there too (because we live for a project and can’t help ourselves), but I’m so glad we decided to put our energy in some of the spaces we will be creating our favorite memories in right now. All good things!

But to give you a taste of the crazy, today there are two crews here, one outside and one inside, each blaring different genres of music. Bless our neighbors, everyone’s receiving homemade banana bread as soon as I find two spare (lol) seconds!

How pretty are these floral plates?! I found them on Amazon while scouring the web for table top items for the sprinkle I’m throwing for my sister and came across these. I LOVE THEM SO MUCH.

I already ordered this dress, because wow wow wow, it’s so good! So many great new pieces are rolling out, but this one stopped me in my tracks.

Prettiest Quilt

We’ve been doing so much of life lately on this pretty floral quilt. Everything from park picnics to tummy time (see here!), it’s made the best playmat for us… also, it’s just plain pretty!

Skincare MVP

I don’t really understand this insta-facial plasma, but omg, it’s fantastic. I have a VERY simple skincare routine right now… I cleanse, put on this serum, and moisturize, that is it. And I LOVE this product.
