What a MONDAY!

Oh my gosh, this weekend was so full and so fun and I could really use just one. more. day! We had overlapping family visits, birthday parties, and so much toddler fun that it all feels like one big blur in the best way… but also a little “where has the time gone?!”

Friday night after the kids were down, a few of Ryan’s brothers and their wives came over for drinks, cookies, and popcorn. We stayed up way past our bedtime talking and laughing and it was the best kind of night. I’ll never get over the fact that I have seven sister-in-laws. Truly so fun.

Saturday we hung out at home with the kids and then decided to pop into our favorite coffee shop for treats and a change of scenery. Honestly, I’d give the outing a solid C+… way too close to nap time, but an A+ for effort, lol. That night I put on my cowboy boots (which have come in handy more than once) and went line dancing with my girlfriends. I have not laughed that hard in so long. The most fun way to spend a night out.

Sunday was pure family mode. I took Laurens to the pet store to pick out toys for a sweet friend’s new puppy and we had the best time. Forget the zoo, the turtle and bird section at our local pet store was just as good and maybe even funnier. We wandered into HomeGoods after and he went wild over all the “funny spooky stuff,” which honestly made my whole afternoon. We ended the day with family pizza night at Ryan’s parents and it was the sweetest way to wrap up the weekend.

My to-do list is still long and I still need to grab groceries, but I’m just so glad for all the silly, easy, memory-filled days we had.
