This weekend was FULL! We kicked off Saturday with our annual neighborhood “Breakfast with Santa” and we were in a candy cane daze from there on out! It was all present wrapping, last minute Christmas shopping, fancy holiday party hopping all weekend long, topped off with a trip to the Nutcracker Ballet. It was a very full and very fun weekend, but I think it’s safe to say we’re officially in holiday mode over here and loving it!
It’s hard to believe that next week is Christmas. Yet I think the week before Christmas is always the most fun, so I am excited to kick it off! Don’t you agree?!
I’m now off to tackle my never ending to-do list over here, but don’t miss my Five Favorite Things list below, there’s some seriously good last minute gift ideas in there! 😉

Party Clutch
Anthropologie is having a ridiculous sale right now and I did a little damage, whoops! One of the things I HAD to order was this clutch and I’m so glad I did. It’s even prettier in person! I love that it’s festive enough for the holidays, but not so red and green that come January I’ll have to put it away. I think this will most definitely become my go-to party clutch!

The Nest
Ladies, Ryan ordered a Nest thermostat for our house last week. It came in on Friday night and he’s like a kid in a candy shop! He’s so obsessed it’s hysterical. I keep telling him, “calm down, it’s just a thermostat,” but he has zero chill about it.
*Also I think he’s excited that he can now change the temperature from his phone (instead of climbing out of bed in the middle of the night) when I tell him it’s too hot or too cold. Yeah, I’m pretty sure that’s it!
So, all of that to say, if you are looking for a gift for the man in your life, BUY THIS THING. He will be so happy. He bought the Nest “e” version because he said it matched out white walls better.

Penny Loafers
These shoes are hands down my favorite shoes right now! They are SO easy to wear and they look so preppy and polished. Plus, they are under $50 at the moment… so you need to go scoop them up ASAP!
Honestly, I’ve never worn a more comfortable shoe. You cannot go wrong with these!
Note: I have them in the brown leather, but Santa, if you’re listening… I’d like them in black too please! 😉

1.5″ Curling Iron
I’ve been getting so many questions about my hair lately on Instagram stories. Aside from the dry shampoo that I think is MAGIC, this curling iron is what’s giving me that big retro curl. I’ve had this curling iron for almost 8 years and it hasn’t let me down once! If you are looking for a curling iron that will give you that big barrel look, this one is for you!
