Spice Up Your Greens
If you haven’t been making your own salad dressing, now’s the time. I’m all about a short cut, but salad dressing is just one of those things that’s too easy and makes SUCH a big difference (in my opinion). Plus, I love a freshly squeezed lemon dressing so much that I’m pretty sure I could never go back to anything else!
At family gatherings I am always in charge of bringing a giant salad. It’s become my thing, which I love because it truly is the easiest dish to make, ha! During these past few weeks we’ve been whipping up some really fresh & tasty salads, so I thought I’d share with you my top three dressings to make!
I typically just make these when I’m having a salad, but they can also be made ahead of time to keep in the fridge for the week.
Also, here’s a helpful tip if you are making a kale salad. My favorite trick is to dress the kale, then massage the dressing into the kale. Just work it in, almost like it’s bread dough. It softens the leaves and makes a massive difference. A serious game changer.
