Early Tuesday morning I caught a flight to one of my favorite cities, Charleston, for a trip with Elizabeth Arden. I’d been looking forward to this trip for a few weeks and I have to say that it FAR exceeded my expectations! I’ve worked with Elizabeth Arden for 3 plus years now and I have enjoyed every second of it. Not only is their team a group of the most kind, thoughtful, and hard-working women I know, but the brand itself was started by one strong and influential lady. Getting to play a very small part in the Elizabeth Arden story is a true honor.
The whole premise of the trip was to dive a little deeper into the story of Elizabeth Arden; to get to know the history of the brand and the true heart behind the products. I can honestly say I walked away with more than I ever thought possible.
Spending the week surrounded by the most beautiful and diverse group of women, all bonding over love of beauty, skincare, and girl power, may just be a dream come true… it was like Summer camp, but WAY fancier. Not only did I learn so much about the heart and history of Elizabeth Arden, but I also walked away with 18 new girlfriends. I will always be grateful for our time together.
During the trip we had the opportunity to visit Elizabeth Arden’s former Summer home (the original red door) for cocktails, enjoy an afternoon of horse back riding – one of Elizabeth Arden’s favorite activities, and of course, test out a few new products!
To be honest, I always get a bit nervous on brand trips, never knowing exactly what I am getting myself into, but this past week truly felt like one big slumber party. I can’t wait to do it again!

Wonderful story – your Instagram posts are so beautiful so heartfelt! What I love most is your lighting it’s just gorgeous soft and dreamy all the time . My question is – do you have a special filter you always use or is it the lighting or your camera ? What camera do you use and who takes all your gorgeous photos ?
Laurette! You are so kind! I try and warm my images up which gives them a nice soft glow. Also, my husband is the genius behind the camera! Couldn’t do this without him!
This looks like such an amazing week!
Michelle! It really was so dreamy!
