Ashley Brooke Designs - Special Delivery

Good Morning and Happy Monday to You!

Here is just a peek at what I was up to this weekend”¦

Photo 1: Special Delivery!

Last week was one of those CRAZY weeks where all the (amazing!) things are happening all at once and by Friday you end up feeling like you’ve been hit by a truck full of confetti. The week was full of extremely early working mornings and late nights, lots of brainstorming, sketching, and troubleshooting! So on Friday afternoon when the doorbell rang and my best guy was standing there with a bouquet of flowers, I about cried. I think it goes without saying that it ended up being the Best. Day. Ever.

On Saturday morning we hopped over to our neighborhood’s newest restaurant, Canvas, to try out their Market breakfast! There is nothing more I love in life than breakfast, it’s my absolute favorite meal of the day… and breakfast tacos are my love language. We eneded up ordering breakfast and then staying for another hour or so just reading our books and enjoying the view. It was such a great morning!

Also, last week I impulse purchased this striped swing dress from the Gap! When I go home I thought to myself, well that is most likely going to look like a trash bag on you, what were you thinking?! but that darn 30% off sale gets me every single time. However, on Saturday morning when my husband was pacing around the house waiting for me to get it together because he was so hungry, I just threw the first thing I saw on and ran out the door. By the time I got in the car I started assessing my outfit… it ended up being VERY swingy and casual chic… I think next time I will wear it with a pair of Chuck Taylors! It’s a little Sporty Spice, and not at all my typical fit, but I love it!

Okay, so I know the macaroon is the new cupcake, but I will never give up on the cupcake. I love it so.

Anyways, this weekend we tried out Bcupcake in Winter Park and OMG so good. I have to be honest with you, I thought that the chocolate peanut butter cupcake was going to be my favorite, but no… this toasted lemon coconut cupcake was to die for. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it. If you are in the area, you NEED to go ASAP!
