PHOTO 1: Central Park in the Fall

This past week in New York may have been our favorite trip to the city yet. I’m not sure you can beat Central Park in the Fall, the leaves were truly UNREAL and the weather was complete perfection. I felt like we were in a movie set all week, the colors of the leaves were so vibrant and the crisp air made it really feel festive! You couldn’t help but get into the holiday spirit!

Also, there is nothing more this Florida girl loves than wearing Fall clothing! We honestly don’t get to do that often, so when I get the opportunity, I JUMP! I’ve been dying over my new Draper James coat and was so thrilled that I was able to wear it on this trip. Nothing says, “holiday” like a new coat!

PHOTO 2: The Good Life

On Saturday morning we caught a train to Connecticut to visit with our good friends Annie and Carly! I had never taken the train like that before, and I was so excited to walk into Grand Central Station with an actual ticket! The train ride was idyllic and as soon as we stepped foot in Connecticut, we just knew we’d love it!

Annie, who works at Vineyard Vines, took us and my good friend, Carly, out for the day and showed us around her hometown. Of course Annie then gave us a tour of the Vineyard Vines Headquarters! It ended up being SUCH a fun and inspiring day! Both Carly and I could barely contain our excitement during the tour and decided that VV may be an even better place to work than Google! Seriously though, we are already planning our next trip to Connecticut, and we are thinking a road trip to Nantucket may be involved! I think it’s safe to say that Ryan and I have completely fallen in love with the Northeast!

Every time I’m in the city, Inslee and I grab coffee over girl talk at Maman. It’s one of those places I stumbled across on Instagram while mindlessly scrolling thought the “popular page”, and we decided one afternoon to go! It’s now our tradition, and I think this was our third time there since we discovered it last December. Every time it gets better and better! It’s our thing and I love it! I text her when I’m coming in the city and we instantly make plans for coffee and pastries at Maman! It’s truly the best ever!

Okay, now I’m off to unpack and get this BIG WEEK started! Also, I pinky promise you are going to want to stick around, we are having our BIGGEST sale EVER staring Black Friday at 12 a.m.! I’m telling you friends, it’s going to be a good one!
