Happy Monday, friends! I know this post is a little tardy (with it being 5:00 in the afternoon and all), but I thought, better late than never! Plus I just HAD to share a few photos from our honeymoon!! And, oh! If you didn’t know… I got married last week to this dreamy guy! So, here is just a peek at what I’ve been up to the past week”¦

Photo 1. Our first stop on our week-long California honeymoon was the Ritz-Carlton in Halfmoon Bay. It was, as you can see, something straight out of a fairytale. And to put icing on the cake, the team at the Ritz sent us over a very special delivery that included a hand written note on the custom stationery I illustrated for them. Pretty sure I died and went to heaven.

Photo 2. Our second stop, was Napa Valley! We stayed at the tiniest bed and breakfast and vineyard hopped! It was the best. The weather was incredible and the people in Napa are just the sweetest! And to put a cherry on top of our Napa trip, my sweet husband surprised me with a beautiful sunset dinner at Auberge du Soleil. Not only was the food amazing and the surprise incredibly thoughtful, but his comment on why he picked this place really made my whole night … “I saw that you pinned it, so I thought you must REALLY want to go there!!” The sweetest.

Photo 3. Our last stop was San Francisco! We had the best time being coffee snobs (hello Four Barrel Coffee… why are you so delicious!!!!???) and sight-seeing until our little feet couldn’t walk any further! Neither of us had ever been to San Fran, so each had a few things that we really wanted to see, and on the tippity top of my list were The Painted Ladies, and oh my gosh are the pretty! I studied The Painted Ladies in Interior Design school, and of course being a child of the nineties, I absolutely NEEDED to see where the opening scene in Full House was filmed. You know, #priorities.

Anyways, I hope your weekend/week was equally as lovely as mine was… and hopefully you enjoyed our #ABDTakeoverWeek as much as we did, but for now I am off to go get dinner in the oven!! Cheers to an extra fabulous and productive week!! xx
