New York Diary – Day 2

A Busy Day
Yesterday was NON- STOP. From the moment we woke up to the moment we stepped foot back into our hotel room it was go-go-go! We had meetings all over the city and we were on and off the subway, in and out of cars all day long… but I wouldn’t of had it any other way.
Not only did we get the chance to catch up with some of our most loved NYC friends, but I also was able to attend a Galentine’s event, and have dinner with my favorite crew. It really was such a sweet day!
Diary, Day 2

The Commute
Ryan and I often use the subway when we are in town. Not only do we find it to be so much easier, and faster, but since Ryan attended college in the city… he knows what he’s doing. Which means cabs and Ubers always feel like such a treat!

Grand Central Station
I have always had a thing for Grand Central Station. It’s so increadibly beautiful and fascinating. One day I’d love to take the walking tour to hear more about its history, but regardless, whenever we are in the city we always make a point to stop in, and look up.

Galentine’s With Essie
I often get invited to NYC events that I’m unable to attend since we live so far away, so when I received the invitation for the ESSIE Galentine’s event I was SO excited to RSVP “yes!”.
My best girlfriends, Carly and Mackenzie, came into town and we made a whole afternoon of it! Such a fun girl’s afternoon… we even received custom initial-engraved friendship bracelets! ha!

Vineyard Vines Dinner
I can’t tell you how nice it is when work aquantences become good friends. I’ve worked with Vineyard Vines for years and over the years have become so close with their incredible team!
Even though they are based in Connecticut, they took the train into the city to take us girls out to dinner at the fabulous Loring Place. It was one of those evenings where you park yourself at the table for over three hours and just catch up. I couldn’t have asked for a better ending to such a fun day.
That’s all for now! For more, follow along on my instagram stories as I share peeks into our days here in the city!
