Our Babymoon At The Four Seasons

A quick romantic getaway, just the two of us…

Two weeks ago, Ryan and I escaped to The Four Seasons Orlando for a quick and totally blissful two-night mini babymoon, and it was absolutely heavenly. Originally, I hadn’t planned to write a full post about our experience, but the moment we checked-in I knew I had to share this experience because it was just so beautiful from the start.

To be honest, during this pregnancy we hadn’t firmly decided on taking a babymoon. With our house move in just three weeks and the new home still a construction zone, things have been far from relaxed around here (more thoughts on that here!). So the fact that everything aligned perfectly for us to sneak away felt like a true miracle, and one that I was incredibly grateful for! I hadn’t realized just how much we needed this time to simply sleep… ha! The trip itself was an actual delight and I’m beyond thankful for the opportunity to get away (though not that far for us, the luckiest!).

The Four Seasons Orlando

The Four Seasons Orlando experience was incredible. It was our first time at a Four Seasons property, and it truly lived up to its reputation. It had everything you’d expect… elegance, top-notch service, stunning views, and delicious food. But what amazed me even more was how kid-friendly the entire hotel was. I kept saying to Ryan how I couldn’t wait to bring our entire family back!

We were there for a babymoon, so we were focused on the adult activities, but we couldn’t help but notice plenty of kids running around and having a blast on the family side of the resort. There is plenty of room for both families to have fun, and also for adults to find some quiet space to relax.

Adult & Kid Friendly Spaces

At the resort there are two different pools… one is the adult-only pool where we mostly stayed, except for Ryan. He couldn’t resist trying out the slide on the kids’ side with all the dads and big kids, ha! Meanwhile, I stayed nice and cozy at the adult pool, sipping my virgin piña colada.

The adult pool is lovely, and the family side is also incredible. There’s a giant splash pad, lazy river, slides, pool basketball and volleyball, and more! Also the on-property kids’ camp seemed like a lot of fun. I appreciate the option to drop your kids off for some recreation time. Truthfully, it’s all very well done.

Being so close to Disney, and technically on the Disney property, they are really set up for families, which is so fun. But I also loved that we felt like we were in our own little romantic bubble, just the two of us… I’m not sure how they do it, but they do it well.

Fantastic Food

We didn’t leave the property once during our stay because the food was exceptional, and the options seemed endless!

Capa – On our first night, we dined at The Four Seasons’ Michelin-starred 17th-floor rooftop steakhouse, and it was phenomenal. I’m still thinking about our meal there! Luckily, our table was tucked into a back booth where we could watch the Disney firework show just as our dessert arrived. Such a treat!

Plancha – One late afternoon we enjoyed an early dinner at Plancha, the clubhouse restaurant on the golf side, and it was truly fantastic. Having recently attended an event there, I insisted Ryan try their chili lime salmon… and once again, it did not disappoint.

The Lobby Bar & Ravello – One morning we indulged in the buffet breakfast at The Lobby Bar, and the next morning, we opted for the plated breakfast at Ravello. Both were fantastic! We really loved the terrace views at The Lobby Bar, where we spent a couple of hours sipping our coffee one morning. Ravello was also great, and several times a week, it hosts a full-on Disney character breakfast. If you have a little one who’s into Mickey and his friends (like me!), you’ll definitely want to book those reservations because it looked absolutely adorable. Again, I can’t wait to bring Laurens!

The Four Seasons Orlando Spa

Another highlight of The Four Seasons Orlando that shouldn’t be missed is their state-of-the-art spa. Oh my gosh, it’s truly incredible. I spent a few hours there when we arrived, and it felt like stepping into another world! Even the sitting room was inviting with freshly baked banana bread and a selection of teas, with fireplaces to snuggle by, creating the coziest vibe.

I received the best prenatal massage ever, and even had the chance to try out their new Somadome Meditation Pod, which was incredible. It was truly an unforgettable experience!

All of this to say, our stay at The Four Seasons Orlando was magical, and I cannot wait to go back. So many of you reached out asking about our staycation, so hopefully this helps! It was truly a five-star experience from the moment we checked in.

Thank you to The Four Seasons Orlando for our stay, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
